Elation has expanded its Paragon series with the Paragon LT, a long-throw LED profile luminaire designed to deliver high-impact visuals for large productions and stadium shows.
Elation said that Paragon LT offers full output even with framing or animation engaged; variable CRI control to allow seamless adjustment from CRI 70 to CRI 93; a new dimming system boosting brightness by 4%; Turbo Mode for up to 20% more output; a lighter yet stronger chassis; whisper-quiet CMY mixing; the largest rotating gobo wheel in the company’s history; and re-engineered frost and zoom systems cutting noise by up to 10dB.
At the heart of the Paragon LT is a 1300W variable CRI white LED engine delivering output of up to 52,000 lumens. It has a 200mm (8in) front lens and a fast zoom range from 3.7° to 48°, to deliver both sharp, punchy beams and soft, wide wash coverage.
The LT model shares the same DNA as the broader Paragon family. Elation’s proprietary TruTone system – a variable CRI control that allows adjustment from CRI 70 to CRI 93 – enables lighting designers to fine-tune both colour fidelity and light output.
The Paragon LT has three gobo wheels (two rotating, one fixed); a full animation wheel; overlapping dual prisms; dual frosts; and a high-speed iris. Its indexable full-blackout framing system is designed to provide exacting beam shaping and detailed shutter cuts.

Elation said Paragon features its fastest and quietest CMY colour mixing system to date, combined with a variable linear CTO to offer smooth transitions, deep colour control and exacting visuals. The company’s SpectraColor colour mixing system is available as an option. SpectraColor uses a CMY and RGB colour mixing array in combination with the variable CTO to deliver an expanded colour range.
Paragon utilises Elation’s Ultra Dimming system. This is designed to allow for very precise low-level control and operation at a refresh rate of 25000Hz, to enable seamless intensity transitions even at the lowest dimming levels and slowest crossfades, while maintaining optimum refresh rates to avoid camera scrolling, issues with phone image capture, and other unwanted interference.
Paragon’s profile lens can be swapped for a Fresnel Wash or PC Beam lens, allowing a single fixture to serve multiple creative purposes across lighting designs.
In noise-critical environments, Paragon provides several low-noise modes. A specialised Theater Mode further reduces sound by slowing specific motors to decrease audibility and resonance. This mode can be remotely activated via the control channel.
The Paragon LT is designed to endure inclement weather and the rigours of tough show schedules. It has an IP54 weatherproof rating for protection against water and dust ingress. Elation said it is ready to perform reliably both indoors and in temporary outdoor settings. The product has a HEPA filtration system to protect internal components while maintaining cooling efficiency.
Paragon comes with extended warranty coverage, which includes protection for the first three years of operation and a five-year warranty on the LED array.
