KV2 Audio has expanded its range of stage monitors with its most powerful addition yet – the ESM312. It is designed for large-scale stage monitoring applications.
KV2 Audio described the ESM312 as a very-high output full-range low-profile three-way, passive monitoring solution. The ESM312 has two bass reflex-loaded 12in neodymium woofers, a single horn loaded 6in mid-range woofer and a 1in compression driver in a compact Baltic birch cabinet.
The company said the ESM312 delivers 133dB sustained output, and 136dB peak with very high dynamic range.
Equipped with a 1in compression driver with a complex geometry phase plug and a neodymium magnetic structure, the ESM312 is designed to ensure great output for its size, very low distortion and extended frequency response. The company also said ESM312 features dual 12in woofers with voice coil technology and neodymium magnetic motor structure, designed to provide for dramatically increased force, lower distortion and increased frequency response linearity.
The wedge-shaped design incorporates rear-mounted flip-out stands to allow for 35° or 45° angles as required. A specially designed acoustic fabric covering inside the grille is designed to protect against liquid spillage, while the polymer coating is designed to withstand the rigours of touring and repeated stage use. An ergonomically designed recessed handle on each side panel facilitates handling and transport.
The company added that the ESM312 is the ideal partner for its flagship VHD5 system, and that it can handle the largest stages with ease.
