Magma Prime haze machine now available in stock

Magmatic is now offering its first haze machine in the Magma series of haze and fog machines. Magma Prime is a water-based hazer that the company says provides a high output, dry haze effect with low fluid consumption. The product was debuted at the 2019 LDI show and is available in stock now.

Magmatic says a large fluid intake and advanced High-Pressure Air (HPA) pump technology reduce the risk of heater clogging, while automatic self-cleaning and energy-saving auto shut-off (when no fluid is detected) make operation effortless and economical.

The unit weighs 22.5 lb (10.2kg), is designed to be compact and has a carrying handle – to make it easy to set in a corner, position side stage, or hide in a theatrical or church setting.

Magma Prime has an aluminium housing and is built to withstand travel and repeated use. Its thermally protected 700W heat exchanger produces full-coverage output at 4,000ft³/min (113m³/min). The unit uses fluid at 3.4ml/min, which means it can produce a fine haze atmosphere to enhance lighting effects for hours. It is also designed to be quiet.

Magma Prime has an LCD touchscreen control panel with manual and timer control options, DMX-512 and RDM control, and optional wired and wireless remote control options.

Magmatic is a new brand launched by Elation Professional. Designed, engineered and exclusively distributed by Elation, Magmatic specialty effects are made to endure. The products include the Magma and Thermatic haze and fog machines, Polar atmospheric snow machines and Rocket CO2 cryogenic simulation effects. To complement these, Elation has developed a line of specially formulated effect fluids, Atmosity. The company also offers Prisma, an IP65-rated series of UV LED lighting products.
